you say you really know me
you're not afraid to show me, what is in your eyes
hatred

No matter who you are, regardless of your personality, your morals, or your values, you’re going to have haters. Let me just start this off by saying everyone is a hater. There are people out there that claim they think talking crap is below them. They’re lying. There are girls and boys a plenty out there that claim that they don’t talk shit about you. They’re lying. There are people out there that claim that they don’t/they could never hate anyone. They’re lying. See the pattern?

Nowadays, it seems like all of these haters have created multiple issues for all of us. Whether they be huge distractions or petty annoyances. Unfortunately, they are and will always be around.

Regardless of who you are, you’re gonna talk shit about someone at some point in your life, and people are going to talk shit about you. Everyone’s got haters, no matter who they are, no matter if they’re a good person or not. They’re still gonna have haters.

But it’s not the haters that matter. It’s whether or not you let them get to you.

The easiest thing to do is to simply brush your shoulders off like a boss after some asshole tries to bring you down. It’s a waste of time trying to prove yourself to someone that shouldn’t matter. The best part? They’re making an ass out of themselves by trying to hurt you and epically failing at it. Go figure.

If you let them get to you, you lose. You make an ass out of yourself for trying to prove yourself to another ass, and it doesn’t do either of you any good. It doesn’t even matter who wins at this point; in the end, you’re still a pretty stupid pair of asses. What would you gain out of it, anyway? A freaking “Elite Level Asshole” award? Lame.

And of course, the last thing you’ll ever want to do is stoop to their level.

You should never respond to shit talking with more shit talking. You’re just making the pile of shit an even larger pile of shit; it’s really no use. Sure, we all do it, just make sure you don’t over do it. No one’s ever going to be awarded a cookie for their gigantic mountains of bullshit. Enough said.

In the end, there isn’t any “true” solutions to haters. They are what they are.
